I'm buying a DT880/600 Manufaktur from Germany website since they have much better and wider options to choose over there. I came down to a very beautiful one but there is one thing I'm confused. There are parts w/ Walnut Burl option and I don't know if it's real wood or it's just the finish is faked up to look woody?

Since it's relative expensive to order from Manufaktur page, I hope it to be real wood. And I hate it fake!

So have anyone done w/ Beyer Manufakture before to confirm me whether or not it's real or fake wood.

No, it is not actually wood - but simply a finish as is the "carbon" choice.

If you think you'd rather not bother spend extra on customization, moon-audio (an authorised reseller) has them cheaper.

The DT880 will stay w/ me for a long time I guess. So I need her to be beautiful

The Moon-Audio price is so tempting tho
