I have a DT770 pro. 250 and a Denon D2000. I feel that one of these would suffice as my closed set of cans. I use a corda 2move as my amp. I am torn as to which one I should sell. I would like to hear input from the crowd.

Ultimately it is your decision. I suggest listening to them both extensively, and choose whichever you feel suits your preferences best. Which is more comfier? I had the Beyerdynamic DT880s, and currently have the Denon AH-D5000s, the DT880s were more comfier as the pleather on the D5000s makes my ears warm and uncomfortable after a few hours.

Ya, I really have no idea how we can answer this question for you. Since you own both headphones it's 100% your opinion as to which sounds better.

I had the D2000's and the 770s (80 though), and to me the Denon's were in a complete different league than the Beyers. Even with ample burn-in I found the 770's severly inferior to the Denons. The 250's have less bass so they're probably much different sounding headphones than the Denons so I guess it comes down to which signature you like better.

As for comfort, the Denon's are the ferari's of comfort and make the Beyers look like a mustang at best.

I have been comparing on and off the last few days. Im leaning toward the D2000, as it gives a more pleasurable experience. I thought about darthing the DT770 which is why I got them but denons are pretty satisfying as they are. Its interesting to see how others opinions differ from my own.

Keep the one that sounds better to your ears. Was that so hard?

Get a cable for your DT150, and sell the others

I prefer the DT150 over the DT770 and the D2000.

How would compare the sound of DT150 to the 770, and the D2000

I had sibilance problems with the D2000 and DT770, which I don't have with DT150. Yet they are detailed enough for me.
The mids of the DT 150 are clear and not recessed, unlike D2000, which has slightly recessed mids IMO.
The bass of the DT150 is defined and textured. I can't say that of the D2000.
Soundstage of the DT150 is wider and deeper than the DT770 Pro.
This is: with my ears, gear and taste.

Seriously, get yourself a DT150 cable, and then compare your headphones.

That totally makes me want to try D2000 now, I sold my DT770 pro 80s, I thought they had resonance issues, one note bass.
