u should check your soundcard software features...
probably some EQ settings u can adjust..."pop...jazz...hall...rock..."?

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Z sound card, new $70.
Might find a better price for a used SB-Z on eBay.
USB bypasses sound card, when plugged into a PC.
