Wow just wow, i thought it was just some sellers on Amazon selling normal iPod LOD cables under the same listings as FiiO LOD cables, now i see there are people making fake E6, wow. Very sorry that this happened to FiiO, not good.

The reply from MAX SOUNDS UK was that they bought it from an authorized sales agent, but I could return it according to sales return law.
 
Yet the copy I received has all the details like the fake: no S/N, dodgy plugs, dogy USB plug, thick rim.
 
Can you tell me which of the current Amazon.co.uk sellers are selling the Real product: NowAdvisorUK, AudioAmp, Audio shop, MP3-Amplifier, AV-SHOP, Advanced mp3 players, UrbanTech???

I bought the one on Amazon that came with the Micca Y-cable right after the E6 was released. It's real, however I noticed the sticker by the switch is crooked, but I've used it a lot so it might have gotten that way over time.

So what's the bottom line FiiO? Are ANY fake signs an indication the whole thing is fake or is it the guts? My guts look like the pic but no serial number, thick loop and thin bar on power switch. I kinda need to know since Amazon istrying to work with me on this.

Too sad is that some retailers remove the SN label so they can sell to other region where is not allowed to do. the best way is not buy from retailer who listed in our black list.

Been testing the fake Fiio E6 for a couple of days, and i think it really isn't that bad. Well i don't of course know how the real Fiio E6 does the job but... I bought it just to get more bass and volume when listening my Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's (80ohm) from Samsung Galaxy S. And it does exactly that, more volume, more bass, maybe slightly better sound quality, more clarity/contrast, maybe. I think i'm gonna just let it be, I don't have the time and nerves to return it and all the fuss. Would probably take months to get a new one.
