I want to use one of my external dacs for my HTPC.  However, I'm having trouble finding a solution that would give me Dolby Headphone through optical.  I've done some reading and so far, I've only found that some cards can do Dolby Digital Live and DTS Connect via SPDIF.  I couldn't find a solid answer regarding Dolby Headphone though.  If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know!

Most Asus soundcards should be able to do this. I have a Xonar D1 that is feeding a Dacmagic via a coaxial cable right now, and used to have it hooked up with an optical cable, so it should work fine.
