I would assume the E10K, being a newer design, would sound better.
The E07K comes with the WM8740 DAC chip and the newer designed E10K uses the PCM5102 DAC chip.
The older E10 model used the WM8740, we can assume FiiO switched to the PCM5102 for improved audio quality?

after going back an forth between the E07K and E10K for several hours, I can honest say the E07K sounds better/cleaner. It also helped that the E07K had the ability to adjust the treble/bass/gain to my liking. The E10K also had a tiny bit of static noise when turning up/down the volume button, but not sure what the problem was.

cool, e10k already sounds good, i expected that e07k to sound worse to e10k, you just won’t know unless you compare directly. you still think e07k sounds better? did you use it as a dac? and what computer did you use it with? thanks
