I wouldn't mind the CDX2 & XPS2 but that setup would cost approximately $11,000 USD, which is way out of my current budget unfortunately.

What are the prices like if that setup was sourced from the US & Canada?

 
A CD player with PSU for $11K seem excessively expensive. A Denon high end player will be just as good and definitely a significantly better value than the Naim. The Naim DAC sounds incredible, a sonic heaven, but their other gear while no doubt are of high quality are all excessively priced strictly for die-hard Naim fans only.

I run a 20+ year old naim cd3.5 with a more recently added flatcap2, and the sound is and always has been lovely. Never even a thought of ‘upgrading.’ Musical is musical; it never goes out of style.
