This week I'm expending some days out of home, I take my PDCP, my CMOY, even the interconnects...but forgot the headphones. Yeah, very stupid, well, I could blame my wife and kids. I keep the other three things in a bag, but not the cans. I prefer to use the KSC35s but I'd be happy now with my MX500s or even the AIWAS. Maybe in USA is not big deal, you go out and buy some MX300 and you can survive, but here you can find only MAXXELL, JWIN and crap like that! Don't waste a single dollar on that, thinking is acceptable for a short time!
So, my advice is to have a bag ready with everything, including emergency cans, the ones you use less at home, but still are listenable for some days, is better than nothing!
Do you have that kind of bag? What other things would you include?

My MX500's are always in my backpack. Never leave without 'em.

But I much prefer my Ety's with the iPod. I keep the Ety's in a hard eyeglass case, ready for quick toss into the bag. iPod is always ready for daily use.

My travel kit includes:

HeadRoom Traveler Bag
Cosmic Amp
Panasonic SL-CT570
Ety-4s
KSC-35
Filters for the Etys
Extra batteries for the player

This kit has many miles on it mostly air travel. Before I got XM radio I also used it everyday at work.
