I orderd some Shure e2 ultra soft sleeves to replace the basic im716 foams (which hurt my ears to no end!). I wonder if they will fit right.

Any one tried them yet? (the round ball ones) Are they any easier on the ears?

no, they don't fit. all of the other shure tips will fit. try olives

Yea, the Ety foamies are too damn scratchy, they hurt my ears too. I've heard that the e3/e4 (etc..) tips will fit the im716s, I plan to get a set of black olive foamies myself.

But I will definitely try the black olive shure tips. I can't stand the ety foamies anymore

Black olive is a tight fit, so be careful when you put it in.
