Do the fischer audio eterna rev2 require an amp + the fuze?

they are only 18ohms and the fuze puts out a lot of power
 
just wondering if anyone has the fuze and the eterna and could tell me how it performs unamped

Well I've got the Rev1 and it doesn't need an amp in my opinion. The Fuze can drive it to earsplitting volumes without any problem at all. When you set it on high volume mode (The volume slider will go to a higher setting. If you don't have this option and want this you have to reset your fuze and choose a different region than europe due to EU regulations) I think you could actually drive them so hard that it would damage them. The Rev2 is a little different, but I don't think it will suddenly need an amp.

The Rev.2 is less sensitive than the original (which is welcome IMO, as there was a lot of background hiss with the original) but is still quite sensitive. No amp needed there.
