I typed a post, and I could have sworn I clicked submit. Yet, I don't see it. Now either I didn't click submit, or the posts go into moderation and I don't know about it, or there is a bug. Can someone tell me which one of those it is?

No, posts don't go into moderation at present. Something must not have worked properly when you clicked on Submit.
