My brother just recently gave me his old Philips FW-C555 and I must admit they sound better than what my pc or Samsung P3 can do (via headphones and via speakers). Since I am not in the position to purchase a new cd player (do not even want one now), I was wondering if there is a way for me to hook up a headphone amp to it. I am really uninformed regarding amps, so before I do something completely foolish, I was hoping you folks could explain to me what I really would need to get that feat accomplished. Thanks!

You could always output it from the current headphone amp to your current headphone amp.

Does it have any kind of line-level outputs on the back, such as RCA sockets?
