I know there are some, and I was wondering if anyone makes and sells them upon request to other head-fiers. If so, what's a ballpark estimate for a custom LOD?

Soldering isn't too difficult, especially if you have steady hands and a stand to help hold the stuff you're trying to piece together.

I had zero experience with soldering when I built a CMOY amp, worked out pretty nicely (surprised the hell out of me when it actually worked, haha).

Here is where it gets sticky, and not in the good sense (wait what). I personally would be happy with any quality DIY cable from a Head-Fi member that costs at least half of what ALO charges. I am saying this from long-term experience on both sides. Just make sure you get quality stuff, and you're good to go. Even if you pretty much order the same materials from Head-Fi members, instead of ALO, it'll come out cheaper.

But he is a Head-Fier like the rest of us, so I think its fair that he at least get mentioned..
