No CAP is better than any cap, check my iPOD 5th capless MOD, capless headphone output or lineout, equivalent to the 3 channel virtual ground setup.

This looks interesting. I have one question. You mentioned this on your page "Notice the added 47uf capacitor between AVDD2 & AGND. The will vastly improve the audio quality."
 
I don't see it. Can you blow it up a little bit more?

By the way, my iMod seems to be opening up more. I now liked it. I can guarantee that I can hear more instruments and sound effects on my musics now compared to other day. I guess burn-in helped.

I just added a picture, soldering points indicated by dots, just choose whatever is convenient for you. Green->AGND, pink->AVDD
