I ordered from Diyhifisupply last week and it was shipped $7 HK Post which turns to USPS in USA. It has been in Status: Foreign International Dispatch all week, which I assume is customs. How long should I expect it to be in this situation? Weeks?

Sometimes customs holds things for a bit, my package from Canada has been in there for over a week already.

I have 3 orders with them at the moment, and have bought from them approaching a dozen times - usually takes 2 weeks total to Texas, on average.

I have similar situation, except mines coming from the US to BC, Canada. However, my shipping status states:

Your item left the United States from FOREIGN CENTERJERSEY CITY NJ 099 at 10:06 AM on January 24, 2009

does that mean it went through customs already and should be arriving any day now?

No, It means it left the US. US to Canada takes FOREVER. It's faster to ship to Australia.

Also, USPS tracking, except for Express Mail, is terrible. It is often not updated at all, even after packages are delivered.
