Hello I just recently made an account, I think this is my second post.
I have used this website a lot and read a lot for recalling my headphones, I love the forum!
Anyways I was at lowes looking for something to make a y split on my freshly recalled hd 428's and I saw some liquid electrical tape stuff.
So I bought it and thought I would try It out and so far I'm having good luck at it, this is my journey haha.

I started by using some liquid tape and putting a coating on the two ends going into the braided pair. Then waited about 10 min and repeated twice.

Secondly, I pulled the techflex up closer to the headphones and flattened it then put a coupple coatings on the techflex

Lastly I put about 5 coats on it and started to shape it to look the way I wanted and let it dry over night.

I'm gonna put a coupple more coats just to even it out, but Im really happy with it now and it seems pretty durable
