hey everyone....ive owned quite a few sets of headphones and none of them distort on the highest volume (dont worry im not listening to it like that continuously, just testing out these headphones) Anyways all of my headphones handle this high volume out of my laptop but for some reason the ue6000 sounds very distorted at the highest volume with the bass sounding like a fart...is this normal? or did i get a defective pair?

no one?or at least an explanation of why distortion happens in general? do i need an amp or what?

I plugged it into my galaxy s4 and no distortion but thats because the volume on my phone doesnt go as high as the laptop...
