Direct line out

Any high end mp3 player with a direct line out.

The only player i know is the Sony Hi-MD RH1 (but i don't like Hi-MD)

umm all line outs are direct man; thats the point. or are you talking digital spdif

some are quasi, like shared, software switchable (eg. NW-HD5)

he could mean this.

pacemaker also has ability in future firmware to have spdif mini plug out via the current line out

Sansa Fuze, but you have to use Griffin dock or DIY your own LOD to get the signal. I am planning of making one myself... Is the OP asking which DAP has a dedicated line-out port/jack?

i think he is meaning is there a built in Line out for a player?

I remember my 6GB Creative labs Jukebox had a Headphone out and a Line out.

Pretty much ALL daps out there today have a Line out via a Dock...

Huh!? The iMod is only available on the 4G and 5/5.5G iPod, not the iPod Classic...

and as it does shorten the path to the line out, it still requires a LOD to use it.

I dont believe they make the headphone out a line out.
