While far from an expert I still know which part of the soldering iron to hold on to - so I thought I'd make myself a balanced cable for my HD800s to with my Phoenix balanced amp.

I'm sure this has been discussed before but could someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction of the best places to source cables and connectors in Europe? Can be anywhere inside the European region really as long as they have a good website.

I'm looking for high quality copper cable, sleeving, HD800 connectors etc, neutrik 4-pin XLR connectors etc.

I don't want silver cable as the the HD800 is bright enough as it is.

Anyone know any good stores?

Can also be US also if it is a REALLY good store but I'd probably have to pay more for shipping and maybe import tax.

Cheers!

Well - I did some research and this is what I found in case anyone is interested:

http://www.thomann.de/

VERY big store! Amps, guitars, drums, equalizers, cables and lots of interesting things. They also seem to carry the entire neutrik connector range and some excellent headphone stands. Some cables as well but nothing too fancy.

http://www.vb-webshop.eu/

Offical webshop for viablue - connectors, sleeving, cables. Shiny, shiny.

http://www.canford.co.uk

Mogami and Canare cables, among others. Sleeving, connectors, soldering irons etc etc. Very big and good store.

Hope that help someone out there. Please add to the list of you've got anything good!
