Hi,

So, am I supposed to connect the end with the arrow to the amplifier? (As the signal flows from the source to the amplifier)

What’s wrong if I connect them the other way round?

its probably just the way its shield'ed so arrows should face away from source

When you get the new amp, plug in the cables in the wrong direction and you'll no why immediately. Using the Micro Amp I accidentally plugged in a EarCandy Mini-Mini in the wrong way once and was greeted by a very distinct hiss. Using IEM it was very easy to hear.

Dont plug the cables in backwards or youll hear the music backwards and get scary backmasking messages!!!

Just a query.

I thought shielding only applies in digital cables ?

Shielding also helps in analogue cables ?

It is definitely because of the shield.
Meaning that the shield is only connected in one end, and the signal is meant to flow with the arrows.
