Can explain the different types?

So far, I've seen...

HD25
HD25 II
HD25-1 II
HD25-13 II
HD25c II

I just want a straight cable, 3.5mm jack.

Which should I go for?

HD25: i'm hoping you mean HD25 SR? that's a cheaper version

HD25 II:
HD25-1 II : i'm thinking are both the same, the new version of the HD25-1's is called the HD25-1 II (MKII) they have velor ear pads as standard.

HD25-13 II: are a is it 300ohm version or is it 600?? Anyway, they are supposidly for porfessional applications.

HD25c II: haven't a clue.

If you're interested go for the HD25-I II's

HD25, HD25 II, HD25-1 II, HD25-13 (not avail. new anymore) are all descriptives of the same model based on the 70 ohm drivers (or termed as "element" by Senn.).

HD25 SR ? no such model - you probably meant HD25 SP, which is based on 85 ohm element. This model has been dropped.

ditto your mention of a HD25c II - never heard of this. Could you have intended the 300 ohm (built this way due to Concorde avionics) HD25 Concorde? They were/are somewhat better than SP were, and usually found on eBay.

Then there is the significantly better quality/more expensive HME25. There are variantions of this based on with/without microphone (and various models of attached microphone). These are 600 ohms, but easy enough to drive with almost all good portable amps. These are the ones seen worn by commentators on most football telecasts.

HD25 = HD25SP which is the cheapest version - avoid
HD25 II = HDSP but with Velour Pads instead of Pleather
HD25-1 II = Same as HD25-1 but with Velour Pads instead of Pleather
HD25-13 II = HD25-1 II but with 600ohms instead of 70ohms for studio usage
HD25c II = Sames as HD25-1 II but with curly cable.

Hope that helps
