Hey guys I've been wondering what the difference is between the Audio technica CKS 55i and the CKS 77!
The CKS 55i has a mic and a frequency response of 100-10,000 whereas the CKS 77 has a response around 4 - 24,000.
So, is the sound any different?
Thanks.

The  CKS 77 has huge bass, i've got the CKM 55 and it's more neutral.

I love AT,i've been really impressed the first time i tried them....and of course i bought both!

it depends on what you're looking for

Is the 55i neutral after burn in or before cause i have a pair and they are really bass heavy i often put bass reducer on my equalizer so neutral after some burn in or out of the box they sounded neutral to you? :)

He's asking about the CKS55, not CKM55.

To the OP, I haven't heard the CKS55 personally, but others have said the 77 is a definite upgrade in sound.
