Didn't like roon, foobar2000 is good, what's better?

I've been using Music Monkey for years. It's been working fine but I was wondering if there is another program that people would recommend. I hear Foobar or Musicbee are better, wasn't sure if it was worth switching to either of those.

I can listen to the recently-released DeaDBeeF 1.8.0 for much longer than foobar2000, or any other music player I've tried (a long, long list on both Windows and Linux, but not Roon) though DeaDBeeF is only OK as a tag editor. I keep foobar2000 around for tagging because no standalone tagging program comes close to my preferred workflow. And from what I've read here and there online, preferences aren't actually universal, so if someone else likes something else, maybe they're not wrong.

I tried several players for Windows and settled on MusicBee. It supports bit-perfect playback (I use WASAPI Event Mode and ASIO), has great file management/tagging features and I love the UI skins and the customizable theater modes.
