Did Audeze also update the LCD2 Classic for 2021?

I don't understand what you are saying really, and I am a computer nerd. I have a mac, I play music via audirvana and itunes... Audirvana has eq included, and I created my own eq for these lcd 2c and i like it, but from the stuff provided by audeze, I have no clue how to integrate it in the mac or in audirvana to just eq the headphones to flat...
This is how my current eq profile looks like:

Sorry I don't know how it works in macOS, but I'd suggest emailing Audeze support about it.

I wrote to Audeze to ask if anything other than the pads had been changed in the 2C Closed which would effect sound quality. The answer was no.
This is correct. The earpads have been changed on all LCD models (except LCD-1), but the only models that have had driver revisions were the X and XC. The economy travel case is now included on all models that previously shipped without a travel case, but this has been a recent change so international dealers may still be running through older stock.

One person from Audeze responded very fast, faster than the shop where I bought the headphones. That people say I can send them all back no problem, but they do not want to spend the time to solve a cable problem, or if they do you gotta send all back, wait and wait, and wait, just to get the thing back with a new cable. Happened in the past with sennheiser, eventually solved but took months. Audeze answered very fast and clearly and hopefuly I get the thing delivered, and I will be very grateful. Thank you Audeze, and Jimmy for solving the problem so fast.

They sound great already without eq. I could not find a decent eq inside Audirvana studio mac to make them really sound better than all flat. I love it to be honest. I do not miss anything. I recently returned a DT770 Pro 80Ohm immediately due to what I noticed as a huge scoop in the mids... maybe they needed "burn in", I don't think so. But I am sensible to such stuff.

Now, if somebody could link me toward the setup for the Audeze eq inside Audirvana, or how to achieve it. No a recording studio speakers simulation, no, just headphones eq. thanks a lot in advance!!

The LCD2 C this thing is AWESOME!!! love it, just sings on my M8! Getting a balanced cable on loan Friday, but as of now, I love these...super comfortable, too, which is a pleasent surprise, weight is not an issue at all.

@Audeze so how did the sound change from the original LCD-2C Version to the current Revision?

The pads seem noteably smaller (and probably different material used) which will have an effect on the sound.

Tha
As stated previously on this thread, there are no major changes outside of the earpads.

Think of the old pads as a flat line. This is what the new pads do in comparison. The biggest change is about a 2db boost at 3khz.

Thank you this was very helpful
