For watching movies is the TC a better headphone or MR? I like more micro details, deeper bass impact and wider soundstage? Thanks 👍
You can get that with Diana TC. Don't forget the Bass Ported earpad to enhance the bass and soundstage even further.

ZMF Crescent Snap is my favorite solution for the Diana V2’s stiff headband 👌🏻

Cross-post from EA thread. :)

Just got my EA Code 23 back from retermination.

Definitely a better fit for this great cable!

This is a well regarded cable, that has its ergonomics challenges. After getting my Diana, I decided to test this great cable
on a more suitable setup. And what a nice decision. It definitely feel more
In place being used with a Headphone and on a desk. It does sound nice with Diana. Compared to the Cardas Parsec I have been using, it gives more sub-bass, drop slightly Lower mids, expands the upper end. A bit more dynamics and dynamics, nothing you will care after a couple songs and brain burn in. All with some good texture known from C23.

All in all it is a good addition to my Diana and will stay there for the foreseeable future.

Is there a recommended touch-up paint that's a good match for the black / gray Diana V2 earcups?

Who anybody tried Diana with Arctic cables?
I had AC build me a Silver/copper hybrid cable for my Diana TC and i couldn't be happier. Never did any A/B with the stock cables but i switched to AC due to the optional sleeving to match my custom Orange DTC.

Has anyone EQ'd MR yet? If so, what settings sounded best to you?

Would someone with the bass ported pads be so nice and measure the width & height of the "air" channel? I am trying to design a 3d print adapter for the regular pads. Already have a working first revision but i want to get the dimensions right.

First Impressions with vegan pads: i like the thinner ones more they have overall better tonal balance. Less subbass and more midbass. Sometimes it sounds more crisp in resolucion. Really near to the orig. boosted ones.

i really like the normal vegans but they sometimes to smeared sounding and loosing layering capability in parts where a lot is going on.

I highly recommand to everyone who purchased MR the boosted vegan pads!

I also would like to add something to this question about EQ - has anyone checked how well MR accepts EQ? I was considering a boost of the low end for movie watching. Any experience in that matter?
I did a +4dB low shelf at 105Hz with -5dB preamp gain and it sounded pretty good. Didn't seem to distort for me, at least not audibly.

I just received washers to allow a gap for increased bass. At first I tried the 5X2 size as suggested, but they fall off too easy. The smallest size, 3X1, stay on better and provide a small gap that increases the bass enough to where it's more enjoyable than without.

I have a new silver plated cable on the way from SkyAudioCables, so curious to see if that makes a difference.

The next step is to find a deal on Dekoni pads.
