That's what I'm doing with the ifi micro idsd black label and the ifi micro Ican SE for warmer days and that's it (maybe an OTL tube amp down the line).
I'm using Diana v2. The xbass feature + stepper under the pads to create a bass port is providing great amount of bass. The tremble can be fatiguing to me sometimes so I switch to the Arya for a more laid back sound during that time. No EQ because I like to switch headphones and the sound is good enough for me. I don't really like the harman target.
I'm no DAC/AMP/Cable guruu so I put my money in headphones. I can't hear the difference between the sub 500 bucks dac/amp so I cannot provide more insides on that.
What I don't like is the confort. I'll try to 3D print earpads adapters to roll pads but there are Dekoni pads for the diana if you want.
I heard the signature is better than the BL but I never tried and I'm not sure I'll be able to tell the difference. Until I can A/B X expensive stuff and tell there is a difference other than placebo, I'm not ready to put that much money on the line and I even question my spending with headphones
