Anyone running the H1 off an Apple Ipad? I know the IPhone works with the USB Camera kit, but the IPads all have USB-C not thunderbolt.

I would dearly love to update the firmware in my H1 to hopefully resolve the volume jump when in high gain. I struggle with computer basics and just can’t figure out how I get a new downloaded firmware file on my device. Can you advise me how I get from here to here…

Your pc recognised H1, so you should run flymcu.exe then chose serial port and honey 3.9.hex. There’s a doc about fw upgrade，follow it step by step.

Which port are you plugged into on the honey? Your computer should be plugged into the charging port of the honey to update the firmware.

Plugged into the charging port.

I figured it out... I was not inputing the file to install (duh). It's working, but the high gain volume issue is not resolved, do one of the other options (other than 3.9) work better? I use the Honey with IEMs...

If yoy use with iems there is an iem tubed firmware

Oh dude. Dont feel bad in the slightest asking for it help on a device in its thread. Thas a huge portion of what I even use headfi for myself tbh
