Sorry friends for my absense.
I have not been my best since my operation. Continuing on with the project so thank you for your patience. I'm still experimenting with drivers. I have built a few that turned out quite good but not yet up to my expectations. I am going to change materials for the diaphram. I'm going with a unconventional material that will not have as much distortion under sound pressure. Great results and pics to come!

Just wondering if anyone knows of a source for fine enameled wire. I need to find some to wind the voice coil of the drivers.

No idea, but that sounds like something that a dentist would have. Heck, dentists have everything.

There's a few bulk wire distributors around. For a fair quantity of info about winding, have a troll through some pickup winding forums....

Here is a pic of what I'm going to use as a driver. I will now need to make a voice coil and skirt for bass.
