Ever since I was a smol hifi-afficionado, I was in love with the design of the big hefty Denon CD-Players in the record stores. You could bring your own headphones, plug them in, and listen to CDs before buying them, or just sit there for a while to listen to some great music on a free afternoon. :D

More out of nostalgia than anything else, I was wondering if I should buy a used Denon DCD-1500AE (with stereo SACD playback, bc I have like 4 of those too) but I'm not quite sure if the headphone amp in there is any good. (It doesn't need to drive 600 Ohm low-efficiency cans)

Would be used with 250 Ohm Beyer DT990 Edition and my Grado RS2e mainly. (in the future, I'll add the Beyer DT1990 Pro as well)
