Hi Head-fiers!

I bought the Denon AH-D600 and I realized that the thin cable was inferior to the thick cable in terms of the SQ. Mid was toned down and the bass become so lean. Anyone else feeling the same way I did?

Can you guys give me some cable suggestion to replace the thin cable?

Thanks!

So you like the long cable they come with but not the short one?  If you can stand giving up the control switch in the short cord any 1/8" stereo mini cable would work.

Here's one now...

However, I strongly suspect there are no real differences between the two.  The headphones themselves are fairly colored.

I'm in the same position - the OFC cable is too long for portable use and the portable does sound inferior. I'm going to be contacting a fella by the name of Ted Allen from headphonelounge.com for a cable after reading many positive experiences headfiers have had with him.

I think he is our best bet for a custom cable that won't break the bank.
