Anyone got a broken pair, let me know. One of my drivers went :frowning2:

Thats really bad... sorry to hear that. Are you sure its the driver no cable / connector?
How long you had them? You got them second hand or new? What about those drivers on aliexpress claiming they are D9200 driver?
Anybody has tried them yet?
Good luck with your repair :frowning2:

Maybe try and reach out to Denon directly? They might sell the driver.
This reminds me ... I need to contact Audio Technica for a replacement driver for my AD2000.

Yeah it’s the driver, tried hardwiring them and they played for like .1 secs then cut out again, couldn’t replicate it. Had them a little over 2 years, 1st owner. Ali drivers don’t have the plastic baffle required to mount the headphones.

yeah just dead :frowning2:

Mr Light Man kindly recommended to me these ear pads for the 7200
https://www.accessoryhouseglobal.com/denon-replacement-ear-cushion/
the same as https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07X1L287G
I now use these instead of the Dekoni Hybrid TH900 Earpads EPZ-TH900-HYB. The new ones are very comfortable, give better passive isolation and the slight sound change is also positive to my ears. A recommendation

Sorry to bump an old post.
Are you still happy with them?
May I ask you if the ear opening is bigger than the stock ones?

Hello
I bought a Denon AH D-7200. With Fiio M11s.
I already had a Denon AH D-5200 and thought I'd do an update with a 7200. But I'm always disappointed after 30-40 hours. Somehow the 5200 was relaxing, the 7200 much more aggressive, the real low bass feels, I mostly hear this kick bass. Someone said it has to be burned in for 200 hours. Is that true? I also have the feeling that the midrange is very much in the foreground. That can't be, supposedly it's a reference headphone, but after 20-30 hours the 5200 was definitely better for me, relaxing and not as aggressive as the 7200.
Or swap for a Focal Elegia?
What do you all mean?

The D5200 is more balanced than the D7200 which is quite darker. From the D5200 it's more of a side step for different taste than a big upgrade. You have to go for the D9200 if you want kind of the same balanced sound but better.
