you can use it - it will work

if it's just a temporary solutio

but generally best to get a proper digital coaxial made for carrying that stuff - at least in the case of BJC has differences in shielding and also the cable doesnt have an impedance of 75ohms but tries to go in 75ohms and come out the other end 75ohms

*shrug* didn't work for me when i tried connecting my Sony DVD player to the Receiver with a regular RCA via coaxial output/input.

At the moment I use a 3.5mm to 2 x RCA cable from the SB Live!24-bit to a RCA/BNC adapter to the BNC input of my Zhaolu and it works just great

there doesn't seem to be any problems i can tell from using a regular rca instead of the 75 ohm pin inserted plugs...
