Any recommendations for some decent sounding ear buds in the $20-25 range? Anything that is better then the Ipods ones are welcome. I listen mostly to accoustical jazz and some light rock. I do like the sound of the Porta-Pros but want "buds". TIA..

Creative ep630s, if you want a solid pair of canalbuds. You can get them for $25 and even less if you search well. Another option for isolation buds are Panasonic RPHJE50s, which are even cheaper that the Creatives. The Panasonics, however, need at least 50hrs of burn-in before they'll sound at their best, otherwise you'll find the highs to be quite harsh, especially at high volumes. After burn-in they are quite competitive with the Creative ep630s and Senn CX300s IMO. They have a very well defined, deep bass, which is what I really like about them.

For earbuds (not in ear), you best bid is MX500 or MX50/51, which ever you can find cheaper (properly MX50 is the cheapest, but kind of hard to find in the U.S.).
