DEAL ALERT: Sony Hybrids (EP-EX10A) Ear Tips
Jun 11, 2010 at 3:28 AM Post #16 of 30
I thought they were more comfortable because they were 'bigger' (diameter) and seemed more cushioned without going as deep as tri-flange tips or the longer Complys. I got them from an eBay seller who isn't in business any more but they were quite cheap (even from US to UK).

There's no harm whatsoever in buying 3 pairs of hybrids for a few dollars.

Yes they fit and sound just fine.  Of the eight or so tips I tried these worked the best for me.  The real Sony hybrids sounded the best, but I couldn't get a good fit (the largest tips fit too snuggly and the mediums were way too small).

)

in fact , i don't know what happened but suddenly my zeros sounds waaaay better.these tips are amazing.certainly much better than the stock tips included when i bought them.

12 pairs (3s-6m-3l) at 4$ ?

Steal.Bargain is an understatement.

(and i read that they also fit for my now-coming 252....life is good.)

Why are they called hybrids? I guess it's foam + silicon, but can anyone explain? (sorry i tried to search for other topics but couldn't find anything)

. If i use the medium tips for the re-zero, medium size for the sony tips? small for small?

i was using the medium stock tips and i am using the medium sony tips

small fit fine as well but sound is better with the mediums

the large have not even been tested once

do what i did , if you are a medium user

ask him for 2-5-2 , you will get 3-6-3 and 99% you're gonna be ok

Sorry to ask here but didnt want to create another thread just for this question. I bought re-zero from another member and wanted to try the medium single flange tips. However, they WILL NOT pop on no matter how hard I try. Has anyone else had this problem? If not maybe he didnt send me a stock tip.

it is 7$ , must have written 4 by accident

as for the tips just roll them iside out and they are done quite easily

i had trouble putting them when in normal

turn them inside out this helps you to put them and then turn them in their normal fit
