I stopped by to see what I could get with my gift card. I always winced when I saw the Portas for $50 there, but at $30, I caved and bought them, along with a pair of SF4s for $35. Pretty decent especially since I paid nothing out of pocket other than the gift card! The fabric cable is kind of kinky (har-har) though.
 
Btw, quarter modding the pads and making a metal mesh screen is a MUST for the Portas. Unless you like loose bass. The SF4s are nothing special, but get the job done as running headphones. They are pretty sibilant though. I'll make a review some time. If anyone wants pictures of the mods I did for the PortaPros, just ask. They sound a lot better. I'll make a review of them next month, not that they need one.

I truly, truly love these cans!  I love the sound signature, the separation and yes, the LOOKS!  I have the nearly all-black Best Buy version, too.  I just wish I could find the ones with the blue drivers - those are heavenly-looking to me
