After hearing so much about them on this forum,when a pair of Darths came up for sale i got them.
To say that i was not impressed would be an understatment.The only way i could listen to them was
by using an equaliser.The bass was muddy/bloated and mids and highs not good.
Because they were so comfortable/closed i stuck with them.
For $45 [au] they have been transformed into a fantastic set of cans.
Mids and highs back,and bass tight.
Anyone with an OLDER set of cans should replace the PADS.
I got original Beyerdynamic pads hence the price.
Best Doller i ever spent.

What pads did you replace them with??

Darths should come with original Beyer velour pads.

Darth pads are the original velours Beyer pads. Have been the same since forever.
