OK, I apologize for that. I took the poor grammar as just being a part of the whole package

THE GATHERING - Souvenirs GATEFOLD DOUBL

Infinite Vinyl is proud to announce the release of Holland’s premier trip rock experts THE GATHERING latest and most precious release “Souvenirs” on a limited edition to 1,000 copies Double Vinyl! This is one of the nicest looking gatefolds we have seen in awhile as it comes with glossy overtones, color inserts, etc. Also the LP release includes lyrics (not available on the CD version).
In their latest opus THE GATHERING rock, groove and take on an exciting journey through highly impressive emotional music, in which Anneke van Giersbergen reflects on her mental “souvenirs” of real life experience. “Souvenirs” breathes a fascinating modern dark sound in which a perfect musical balance between organic and electronic sounds go hand in hand with more psychedelic film music!

GATHERING
This used to be one of Dusty Chalk's fav groups........they have a couple early albums that are pretty good:
-mandylion
-night time birds
but then changed styles and become very progressive/pop and very boring IMO especially with album "if then else" which I made the mistake of buying.
New album "souvenirs" may be different but I have lost interest in this group.

Please let us know what you think of that Immortal album and the Lucifugum album.
I have those two, but I don't want to influence before you hear them.

Also, will that Cadaveria CD play on your computer? I have one that won't, but it's the Shadow's Madame.

Will give impressions as always.........but may take several days because my new CD stack is very tall.

EMPEROR - Wrath of the Tyrant
This early album sounds very different than "Nightside Eclipse" and is similar to many other early 1990s dark/black metal works......waves of distortion fuzz created by guitars with melodic gothic keyboard swirling in and out with acidic hell spawn death vocals cutting like a knife, songs done at mid tempo speeds and sound quality is below average. Not for Emperor noobs, but true fans will enjoy it for its historical look at one the the more influential groups of thew genre.

This newest version collects several bonus tracks, 13 tracks total. Did I mention only $6 at Century Media sale?

Who do you suppose will be the first to carry this set? I am going to get this one myself.
Maybe The End? Maybe Black Metal.com?

Jeez DA, a tall stack of new CDs. I feel that I am getting behind here, in a big way. Maybe I'm being too picky about what I buy.
