I can appreciate that you like the original artwork. I just don't know which one is the original. Which one do you have?

I wanted to get Arch Enemy Wages of Sin but, they didn't have that one. I am not sure why I shopped at Black Metal when they didn't have half of what I wanted to pick up.

Remind me to move up in ranking:

EMPEROR - Nightside Eclipse

next time I do my greatest dark metal list. Currently ranked #20 everytime I listen to this my appreciation grows, somehow its greatness eluded me first few listens but is now being fully revealed.

I didn't realize there was a reaster of this, a good album, but the original recording had a bit to be desired.

Yes you get two excellent bonus tracks with "nightside":
-fine day to die
-gypsy

For the "anthems to welkin" reissue they have three bonus tracks:
-longing spirit
-opus a satana
-loss and curse of reverence

BTW in the past I mistakenly believed that "anthems" was a slightly better album, I now realize that "nightside" is EMPEROR'S masterwork.

Has any of you tried Draconian - Where Lovers Mourn yet? Picked this album up today, and even though it has got some mixed reviews in finnish metal medias, I instantly liked this one a lot. If Tristania and Shape of Despair would merge, it could sound like Draconian. Some of the songs are longer, doomish ones, while others could almost be from Beyond the Veil. Vocals are definite Beauty&Beast, and the female voice is quite.. seductive, heh. In addition to doom/b&b, Draconian also has some folk elements with violin/piano interludes and acoustic parts. Production is top notch, and so is the cover art.

Dunno if this one is released in U.S yet, though it should be (?), as Nuclear Blast is the label.

Hello guys, just a few thing I need to post about.

1. New Moonspell albums get rave reviews from people who hated Moonspell, that's how great the one is, read for yourself :
http://www.metaljudgment.com/albums/...ll_frames.html

2. Mago de Oz is an amazing band! They are from Spain, the lyrics are in Spanish, but don't let that stop you from checking them out. They play Folk-Metal. Their violin player plays most of the solos, which gives them quite a special sound. They don't play extreme metal, just Heavy/power metal (think Iron Maiden) mixed with folk music and classical. If you want to check them out, I would suggest starting with their album " La Leyenda De La Mancha" and move up from there. Their double album "Finisterra" is just amazing as well.

Here are some reviews:

Just thought I would post regarding Century Media.

Friday night I got an Email from UPS stating that a package from Century Media has been shipped and it gave a tracking number. I think this is my Dimmu Borgir military box because it lists the weight of the package as 7 pounds. I ordered this a few days before the Halloween sale.

I hope to get another such email for the items I ordered on the Halloween sale. I think I ordered enough to qualify for UPS shipping.

I got my order from Blackmetal dot com. I wish Century Media was this quick in getting stuff to me.

My copy of Moonspell - The Antidote isn't the same as KR...'s.
No poster no stickers, packed in a jewel case. The multimedia section is very cool though. I liked the video, but wish I could figure out how to make it bigger.

Arch Enemy is very good, what part I have listened to so far. The DVD audio disc has 6 live tracks and 3 of them are in Dolby 5.1. Soon as the wife gets done with the TV I'm gonna try out the 5.1 sound.

Yes new AE is very good, all AE albums are very good..........don't forget AE on MTV2 Headbangers 11/11/03

I was very close to getting limited edition MARDUK "blackcrowned" set from century media, I have almost all albums by them which I really enjoy. This is not as elaborate as your Dimmu military box though, he he.

NACHER
Can't find any place selling DRACONIAN album in USA

KR
Those dudes from Metal Judgement often disagree with my tastes in music........so I never really check that site for info.
It is interesting to hear thier evaluations though even if I don't agree.
