Hi!

I am looking for a DAP for the sole purpose of streaming or playing Tidal offline. I want this DAP to have an USB-C or USB 2.0 output into my Woo Audio WA11 Dac/Amp so the DAP doesn't need to have a spectacular DAC. I'm currently using my iPhone to output to my Dac/Amp, but the output is down sampled by iOS.

Does any DAP meet these qualities?

Thanks.

I decided to go with R6 Pro by Hiby, but the R5 also supports this. For anyone else's reference, other products that currently support this come from Cayin and iBasso. The keywords you are looking for are DTA using Android's Open Architecture which started in 8.1 Oreo. The R3 from Hiby does this by not using Android all together.

"The R5 also supports DTA or Direct Transport Architecture, much like the R6. That’s bit-perfect playback right across the software platform irrespective of the audio apps you use. We are seeing that feature appear everywhere these days in Cayin and iBasso but good to see it make its way into their mid-fi offerings." -- Headfonics
