I vote the sansa e2x0, they fixed most of the sound bugs and its sq is quite good, my only flaw is a very very slight hiss that comes up from first song choice selection, but after that nothing no hiss. I also have a zune which is a pretty frickken awesome, and not as thick or big as people claim and the sq is topnotch.

it's amazing how far they progressed, what a team, to do all that.

I thoroughly recommend the D2.. or perhaps the upcoming Irivier x20 which is almost equally sexy in its own ways (8 gb and replaceable battery hello? But only micro SD and smaller screen and probably shabbier battery life and no touchscreen interface which I really like on my d2). If you really can't shell out the extra 20 bucks for the d2 then I quite like the Meizu player.

I actually just talked my friend out of asking for an 80 gb ipod photo into getting a d2 and putting the extra money into headphones and sd cards. Main selling point? How long a flash player will probably last esp one with upgrade potential vs any harddrive player.
