I'll probably spend my time healing cowon and sansa, since I do like both of them. I'd take cowon over sansa though since you have to use rockbox for sansa to be any good.

Creative 5 HEAL Zii EGG looks interesting - great open source platform which may encourage other companies to promote open source. likewise, features such as gapless and new codecs may be possible.
