Congratulations. Stunning cable.

Do you find the quality of your copper 4.4mm to 4-pin XLR adapter affects the sound?

I can hear the subtle differences between my various pigtails and interconnects.

Those who have seen my posts on the Susvara thread know that I have been a big proponent of the stock cable of the Susvara.
@Tubewin I was relieved to read this. I thought I was alone in liking the stock cable (apart from the sleeving ). I like that in many ways (not all) it seems to present the music as mastered. I find myself returning to as the default cable.

I have two 3rd party cable replacements (midrange) both of which made changes to the sound of my Susvaras. One set sounded nice but I realised pretty quickly that every track sounded ok and it seemed to fill in mastering deficiencies (well defined bass, reasonable coherence) - all the tracks just sounded nice. That might suit some bit isn't what I'm after.

I'm after a cable that will give me the music, mastering and timbre - warts and all - with musicality!

I'm considering either the Nirvana and Voila as potential upgrades.

If you do choose one of those, I'd be interested in your opinions because I'm in your camp, I really like the stock cable and what it does to timbre - top to bottom.

It's such a large financial investment. I normally won't invest this kind of money without being able to audition the equipment/cable or have the ability to return the item if I am not satisfied. However, one of my best audio purchases was made without audition (Flux Volot headphone amp).

I am talking to ginko about options to send to the UK and advice. If I do go ahead I'll update you.
