Amm the PICO is a DAC+AMP
, but it doesn't have RCA out and so on
So I need to use mini-> RCA cable
and it isn't that good soltions for a good DAC
Also, it isn't same volume, means the volume control change the line out.
So
It is hard to compare it
But anyway
I have done some compare - seem like the PICO is a very capble DAC !
Rreally nice!
I think the USB is what doing it that great.

But still, I belive the OMZ is a better DAC

HeadLover: you also have a Pico DAC, yes? I'd be very interested in the Oritek vs Pico.

I used to have a Pico and did compare the DAC/amp combo of both. I found the Oritek to have more resolution and to be more tonally accurate. I used a laptop with Apple Lossless files as a source for the Pico and a Squeezebox with Apple Lossless files as a source for the OMZ. But remember the form factor and price. The Pico has a very satisfying sound. At this moment, I don't remember if this was with the v4.1 or v4.2 OMZ.

What's your budget? If you're going to drop $1k on a DAC, there's also the Lavry DA10.
