Plus, they have VAT so the higher quality stuff would cost more plus that 23%, is it? So, buying better from China for less, and even after shipping is way cheaper for our EU friends.

And I would gladly buy locally, neverminding the higher prices, but they just don't sell good quality stuff.

First action: off with the cheap output caps, on with Elna Starget 220uF 16v.

And got rid of the junk connectors.



Seems to sound better already!

Next thing: big propilene caps to bypass the Elna's and see (~listen) if it makes a difference!
