I was in discussion with Jim before the Auction Close. Unfortunately I ended up getting the HP2 which closed around an hour earlier and I don't have more cash to go for the Chime Gold.

Ideally, I would like a standard Chime, with the volume control removed, and have some boutique parts put in (Black Gates, NOS tubes,....etc.). That will be my next DAC (although I have DACs now).

I understand Jim is working on another special version of Chime. Hold on ...
