Curious about the definition of LAN streaming ... DLNA? Integrated ROON? Native streaming services? And what tubes will be implemented?

Tubes??? I don't think that there will be any tubes implemented in the K17 🤔 where did you find any info about that? I'm more curious about amp section, for the first time there won't be any THX amps and that is great! (I personally find THX amps to sound dry and lifeless). I'm also waiting for more info about streaming capabilities. I really hope for Tidal Connect and DLNA support as I will be streaming from my Android smartphone.

Here https://earl4proxyvoting.com/fiio-202411-headphonefestival/ it says that the K17 uses FiiO’s first Triod

Hmm .. The "FiiO's First Triod"mention has disappeared .....

And did anyone spot any dimensions yet?

@FiiO, in terms of features and price point, this looks like a homerun!

I'd love to about hear how users can configure EQ settings – is it configurable through the device itself, through a web app, or perhaps through a mobile app via Bluetooth?

Hope that it will sound as great it looks in visual and in specs 🤞🏻the most important thing for me will be the amplificiation section. The two AK4499EX will sound great only if they are implemented right and if the amp section is done right with high quality components, otherwise it may sound dry, anemic and lifeless no matter which DAC chips are being used. So I cross my fingers for this K17 🤞🏻

Hello everyone,

@FiiO

Since its launch, I've been enjoying the K9 AKM and wondering how they will compare soundwise.

Their DAC section is the same. Their main difference (besides connectivity and streaming capabilities) is their AMP section.

It makes me wonder if there's a big gap and upgrade soundwise between them.

Best
