I use the D66 for detail and comfort. I use the K81DJ for the bass and isolation, although the D66 isolate well enough for me when walking around campus, too. I've been alternating between the two lately.

For me, the K81s aren't that uncomfortable, but prior to getting them, I've only used circumaural 'phones, so the supra-aural fit and clamping of the K81 took a little getting used to. I also still need to bend the headband. Overall, the Eggos are lighter and circumaural so they are much more comfortable for me compared to the K81DJ. I also prefer the Eggos' cloth over the K81's pleather. But, I'd recommend either for portable use.
