I have a question or two.

Basically I was looking at the Cypher Labs AlgoRhythm Solo + Rx Mk2 Amp and an iBasso D6. I am in need of an amp and a dac because I'm running nice headphones on a fiio E5 or straight out my sources. These are my primary 2 choices.

For the AlgoRhythm Solo, it only accepts input via usb. If I used a usb male to male cable, would I be able to run audio from my PC to it? Or is it only and primarily for Apple "iProducts?" It worries be because most of my music is on my computer and thats where I'll be using it the most, other than my car or in my backpack when I go out or something. I willing to pay the extra mile, but if it comes to it not work that way, I might save the cash and buy an iBasso D6. Your thoughts an opinions?

No, the Solo cannot process signal from your computer.  It is a transport/Dac that will take signal only from you Idevices.  For computer uses, you are better just buying the Ibasso d12 or D6 which will take usb signal from you computer.

Ah. Alright, thanks for the info. As for the products themselves, anyone with the AlgoRhythm Solo + Rx Mk2, how do they sound together?

Don't worry about him, he's just a bit upset that his ears are dumb, hence trolling his feelings away, although I don't think it'll work.

Anyway, the Solo is a wonderful device. However, I do warn you that if you have not had some time with your gear, and this is your first serious purchase, you will not hear a huge difference because you will start off with the amazing SQ/etc. But you won't regret it either ^^ Here is the thread for impressions http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/542062/cypher-labs-impressions-thread

Good luck!
