I have been eyeing a custom molded in ear monitor for months now...okay, just last week
but now that I have the funding, i can't choose which one to go with....
well, from my current phones, my favorite so far would be the shure srh840's.the miles davis tributes were too bassy. grado sr325is', too fatiguing (right ear hurts in minutes, nope, this doesn't just apply for the 325's, same thing happened with my woodied 225i's) k81dj, too bassy. HD25 1-ii, good amount of bass, but the srh840's are more detailed w/ a treble that's very likable (very crisp, not fatiguing unlike the grados) westone 3's, the bass seemed to get into the way of very small details once again (a bit more treble would have been nice as well) anywho, what would you guys go with? budget is about $1200-1400
