Although I'm not new to hi-fi or to personal audio, I don't have any customs as yet - I'm currently awaiting my first set, from Unique Melody.
 
They should be with me just before, or just after, Christmas, so I'll post a pic when they arrive.
 
Please post some of your own ideas if you have the time - I seem to be the only one contributing to this thread at the moment (I do realise it's an old thread), but that's a pity because customs are a big investment and it's nice to have some inspiration for a bit of artwork to personalise them.

This is nice but I want to post the following in these sort of threads:
 
For an adult and in the eyes of other adults, a clear acrylic custom looks by far the best.
 
That is straight-up, objective truth. Darker solid colors and translucents can look quite nice as well.
 
99% of custom iem art looks terrible and juvenile in people's ears.
 
If you have a grown-up job, don't get batman logos or you'll look like a twit at the law firm.
 
It seems obvious, but sometimes I wonder...
